How to Subscribe - Unsubscribe To International Transalp Mailing List

If you want to get in contact with hundreds of TA users from all over the world, Transalp mailing list is the instant way to achieve this. This way you can send a message to a single mail address (transalp@paok.gr) and you can be sure that your message will be received by all those people. Correspondingly, you will receive all the messages sent from them.

Subscribing (or unsubscribing) is free of charge and straightforward. Just send one of the following messages to the proper mail address. Leave subject (title) of this message empty.
    to subscribe:
        subscribe   transalp   your_email_address
    to unsubscribe:
        unsubscribe   transalp   your_email_address
    to subscribe in digest mode (messages receiving once per week):
        subscribe     transalp-digest   your_email_address
    to unsubscribe digest mode:
        unsubscribe     transalp-digest   your_email_address

Shortly after sending the registration message, you will automatically receive a confirmation message including subscribe / unsubscribe directions. Do not erase that message ! You may need it some day (see at the end of this page).
The default language is English.

Sometimes there are unsubscribing problems, particularly when someone uses a "free mail service" provider (Hotmail etc). Additionally, you must know that the list is based on an completely automatic "answering" software, thus any subscribing or unsubscribing sequence must be executed as described above. You better not use "html format" in your email program (the correct setting is "plain text").
