Increasing headlight power
Many people think the headlight beam has insufficient power. However, changing the lamp
to higher power (halogen) type will also increased current flow. This current produce
large voltage drop, so luminosity may not increase as much. Besides, cables and light fuse
may be overheated.
In that case, further modifications (wiring, additional relay) are needed. See the

On the older models (until 1993) reflector has no overheating problem from the increased lamp power. We don't know what happens to the newer models
